This should not need explanation, but apparently it does, at least for some of you guys.

A forum, any forum, has the right to remove, ban, or otherwise rid itself of members it feels that it has a need to. Doesn't matter if you think that it is right, overly harsh, fabricated, or just plain bone-headed, it is their right.

Some of us here know that feeling all too well. But you don't see us scurrying around, in the dark of night, trying to undermine things. No, we moved on. (OK, maybe we raised a stink. Wait....we did raise a stink.) But that is not the point. We went one way, and the other guys moved their way. In the end, no one suffered a life-threatening disorder over it.

But not everyone sees things that way. They lay in wait, and try to sneak back in, and make half-hearted efforts to cover their tracks.

Well, we have a case of that in our midst. Some one that we felt we have no alternative to ban has decided to sneak back in. He tried hard to get along. Sure, he didn't make vulgar posts, with obscene threats, this time. Instead, he turned into a "kinder and gentler" annoying sort of git.

Due to some glitches in the forum s/w and database, we were slow to uncover his actions. Suspicious as we were from the start, we were not as diligent as we would like to have been. So, in a sense, we did not live up to our goals. But, as suspicion mounted, we came upon enough evidence to ban this user. Again.

So.......just in case some of you still don't get it:

Once you are banned, that means "See ya' later, bub." If we decide at some later point to invite you back (hey, we all know that "lifetime bans" aren't for life.... just ask Phred, and his untold number of sock puppets), we will let you know.

Sure, you can ask us before that point if we think that maybe now perhaps is the time to reconsider...........blah, blah....etc., etc....more blah. But to take it on your own, for whatever reason, to reappear, no, don't try it. We will find out. We will do something about it.

And if you live close enough to Texas where I can come and beat the stuffing out of you.......well, I might just as well do that.

OK, probably not. Petrol is getting too expensive, and you aren't worth it.
