New here on diyhifi.org, but some of might know me from diyaudio.com
Glad to be joining :cool2:

I have just finished my litle project of comparing two popular self oscillating feedback topologies i.e. UcD and Hysteresis.

The construction is based on Philips application note, but has been modified to accomodate two feedback modes.

The construction was made as small as possible and as cheap as possible, and is designed to go into a small two way active speaker.
But the test was to see or rather hear the difference between the two modes, when all other factors where the same.

The conclusion is, that there is very little difference ......
But go to my website for the full story.
