This is your assumption. It is not a fact. Because you have not tried to replicate the frequency response on a normal DAC with digtal filters. I have (among many other things).


You may have misunderstood me, or we are not tuning the same frequency.
What I said was noticeable was the treble loss of non compensated NOS dacs.
It is my opinion, based on my experience. It ain't gonna change.
Of course I did replicate a flat frequency response, as on a "normal" dac, as I've said, I've done that actively and passively, I've tried it all.
