Or not.

Anyway, one of the local Texas Audio Mafia was cleaning out their junque boit, and found these wretched things (along with some other crap, which is probably decent stuff), and decided to peddle it on "uPay". ("U Pay too much, for crap that you really don't need!")

Anyway....................helping a buddy clear out some space, and provide entertainment, for the rest of us:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/142446748876?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Make sure that you look at the impedance curve!

Anyway, my buddy thanks you. And his wife will probably thanks you. Or not. (Actually, she may just delay kicking him in the noots!) (Yeah, don'tcha you know a woman is behind this. Next thing that you know, she will be complaining about the wires all over the floor.....................) (Actually, I think she lets him do what he wants, as long as it is confined to "his room". The problem is his crap has encroached into "her space". Which is to say, the rest of the house. Which, I gather, is needed to pander to the grandkids.)

(Glad I don't have that problem, but then, when it comes to wimmin'....................well, let's not go there!)

Oh, before I forget........................

No, this is not Phred. Phred is the opposite: he collects crap, that he does not need, off of uPay. And, yes, his wife kvetches about it, all the time. Sometimes she even kvetches to me, like I am supposed to do anything about it.

Note to the rest of you: if you want to start your own audio company, it is best to not have anyone who is married as part of it. Stuff like this is just the tip of the iceberg.

(Eventually, it all goes to crap, and most of the Audio Mafia never talk to each other, and/or listen to their systems.) (Including you-know-who. But, everything I do design work on is for other folks, and I really don't care what it sounds like. Only if the check clears the bank. Which it sometimes doesn't......................)

This Bose was a decent idea, it had its place. As a stage monitor for instance. Especially for voice. I heard it in the late 90s while helping in a live sound installation.

Not that hard, seeing that is the limit of its reproductive range.

Try again!

(MOO!)

Hi,

I have used them in "sound re-inforcement". They were kept for small jobs that would get one guy and a hatchback car, like making noise (I hesitate calling it sound) at fashion shows etc.

We never used for anything serious... Because we would have been told "Bring Other Sound Equipment".

Ciao T

All I´m saying is it makes a decent stage monitor for vocals. Better than most stage wedges which are 15" woofer + compression driver.
